Manchester LVT Floor Installation

This Manchester home renovation was a great project to get stuck into with lots of challenges.

The customer chose to go with Camaro Large Parquet tiles throughout the hallway and into a large open plan kitchen dining room, opting for the stunning herringbone style.

Screeding and Floor Levelling

The preparation before the LVT could be installed required fixing of 6mm plywood boards throughout the hallway to cover the existing floorboards. The customer opted for Underfloor heating in the kitchen and dining room. This required two coats of Bostik SL Advanced screed which is compatible to under floor heating in order to get the 10mm minimum depth required.

Then came the fun part of installing the LVT. Starting off by dry fitting around the kitchen island making sure the herringbone pattern bonded perfectly around before carrying on into the rest of the kitchen and then finally finishing off into the hallway to complete this stunning Manchester home.
